    Yes, an email account can be deleted when no longer needed. 
The default email account can not be deleted.

1. Select "Add/Remove Accounts" in "Mail 
Manager"
2. Select the link "Delete" on the line of the account that you 
want to delete.
3. Click on the button "Yes"
